Preparations are in full swing for the 38th Aliw awards on December 15,2025 at the Manila Hotel Fiesta Pavilion, as the Aliw Awards Foundation gears for the celebration of its golden anniversary next year.
It will be recalled that the AAFI was established in November 1976 and the first awards night was held a year later.
The year, the production will be directed once again by multi-awarded Frannie Zamora,a product of the first Aliw workshop.
Deadline for nominations has been extended to November 30,2025 to accommodate more nominations.
Finalists for the more than 50 categories of awards will be announced a week before the event.
Top award is the Entertainer of the Year award which was first can by the late Miss Pilita Corrales.
To be elevated to the Aliw Hall of Fame this year are; Rex Navarrete, Kathy Mas,Sounds of Manila,Sherwin Sozon,Carla Guevarra&
Lorna Cifra.
Early benefactors of Aliw 2025 are PAGCOR,QC Mayor Joy Belmonte,Victoria School Foundation and more are expected soon.
Guests are requested to come early as dinner will be served at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm.
