
Quezon City, September 13, 2025 — The Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under the leadership of P/Co. Randy Glenn Silvio, through the District Community Affairs and Development Division (DCADD), successfully carried out a series of community engagement activities on September 13, 2025, in Brgy. South Triangle (PS 10), Sitio Punong Diablo in Brgy. Tatalon (PS 11), and Sitio Matang Tubig in Brgy. Horseshoe (PS 7), even as a protest rally was taking place in the city.
The activities were spearheaded by P/Lt. Col. Allan Docyogen, OIC, DCADD, together with personnel from the Station Community Affairs Section (SCADS), in partnership with QCADAAC and barangay officials.
During the engagements, lectures were delivered alongside the distribution of food packs and hot meals, ensuring that residents received both relevant information and much-needed support. At PS10, lectures and food distribution benefited around 250 participants.
At PS11, a raffle draw was facilitated where prizes worth Php200 each were awarded to selected residents, reaching approximately 200 beneficiaries.
Meanwhile, at PS7, SCADS personnel conducted a livelihood demonstration on Al-Cologne making to promote self-sufficiency, benefiting another 200 participants.
In total, the activities served an estimated 650 beneficiaries, reflecting QCPD’s unwavering commitment in promoting peace, safeguarding community welfare, and fostering stronger police–community relations through dedicated service, and genuine public engagement. (DOLLY C)
